I definitely recommend getting your ECU flashed with FTECU.FTEcu Kawasaki Active Tune AFR Self Tuning ECU Kit. IMO it's the best bang for the buck mod I have done to my bike so far. From start to finish this was an excellent experience. I'm so glad I followed Spacep0d recommendation in going with these guys to flash my ECU. The bike truly feels like a different bike. Most notably was the change in throttle response. To my surprise this simple mod changed the bike completely. Just got back from a quick ride and to be honest I wasn't expecting much. So that was just a two days turnaround time from the time of them receiving the ECU to me having it back in my bike :emot-worship: They flashed my ECU and I had it installed back in my bike on Wednesday 6/22/16. I overnighted it on Friday 6/17/16 (Not knowing they were closed on Saturday's.My Mistake) so package was delivered on Monday 6/20/16. Once I made my decision all I had to do was place the order, fill out a release form, remove the ECU, then ship it to Flash-Tune. The hardest part of the process was deciding what I wanted to do. The overall process from start to finish was fairly simple. I'm one of the few that actually don't mind the stock exhaust system so I went with the Standard Full Exhaust Flash ($215.00 shipping included). They are extremely knowledgeable, kind, and respond to questions via e-mail in a timely fashion. Just got my ECU back from Flash-Tune ECU.com and wanted to share my experience with you all.įirst and foremost the customer service from these guys is top notch.
